Happy trail to you.

How is your trail today?
Is it hard to see the path?
Not sure where to step?
Does it look REALLY steep?
Not sure if the journey is worth it?

Matthew 7:13
“Don’t look for shortcuts to God. The market is flooded with surefire, easygoing formulas for a successful life that can be practiced in your spare time. Don’t fall for that stuff, even though crowds of people do. The way to life—to God!—is vigorous and requires total attention."

But also...
Philippians 3:14
"I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."


But my sinful heart is not interested in the trail.
It plants detours and temptations on my way.

ONLY with my God's help will I stay on the trail.
That's why I NEED help.
I NEED a savior.

And God provided one.
God blazed the trail with his Son Jesus Christ.
For you and for me.

John 3:16-18 
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son."


Lord,
Help me stay on the trail.
Remind me that you blazed the trail.
And I just need to look to you for a map.
In your Word.
